KVS Admission Online process start in June-2020
KVS Admission 2020 in June: As per the latest media reports, the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has decided to delay the admission process for KVS Admissions 2020 for the next academic session, as per media reports. Reports also suggest that KVS Admission 2020 process will now only start by June 2020. For 2020 session, the admission process, which typically starts in March, was already delayed by a month due to unannounced reasons. However, now with the 21-day national lockdown in place, it seems that the KVS Admission 2020 will be delayed further and will only commence in June 2020.
Admission Process Delayed due to Revision in Reservation of Seats
As stated above, typically, KVS commences the admission process for new academic session in the month of February with the release of admission notification, Thereafter, in the last week of February or first week of March with the start of online application process would commence during which students and parents would fill the application form. The admission formalities would concluded by 4th Week of March and the new academic session would start by 1st week of April.
However, for academic session 2020-21, KVS had to delay the admission process due to some revision in the reservation seats and the quota allotted to different categories. After completion of this process, the admission notification was expected to be released in 2nd Week of March 2020. But since then due to Coronavirus outbreak in the country, the preliminary preparation for admission process has been halted, which are now expected to start only in mid-April 2020 after the lockdown is lifted. This will push the admission cycle to June 2020.
